My idea is to provide a platform where wastes producers/generators can be connected with waste recyclers or reusers. The waste generators can earn some money for providing 'raw materials' for the recycler/reuser who also earns money from the finished products produced from the wastes. Ultimately, the environment is cleaner and money earned from the ventures provides some form of sustainable economy .

I'm proposing the development of an app(s) to promote environmental sustainability initiatives and advocacy. Most of our 'environmental risks perception' studies have shown that stakeholders particularly the indigenous communities lack awareness about the environmental risks and impacts of their activities. Bio Temitope Sogbanmu is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Zoology, University of Lagos with a BSc (Hons.) in Zoology and a PhD in Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Management. Her research focus is on the risks assessment and management of organic pollutants in various environmental media using classic and emerging ecotoxicology tools. This is with a view to develop and provide targeted environmental management advice to regulators/policymakers as well as innovative products for the treatment of wastewaters. Dr Sogbanmu interfaces with environmental regulators and stakeholders as a consultant on environmental impact assessment (EIA) projects. She is an active member of professional societies including the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC), Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). She is a member, Board of Trustees, Society for Environmental Toxicology and Pollution Mitigation (SETPOM) and an Affiliate of the African Academy of Sciences (AAS). www.tosogbanmu.wordpress.com
